The four-hour workshop will include both theoretical and practical introduction to independent writing; it is aimed at beginners who are just about to start the adventure of review writing. The workshop will also provide a groundwork for writing texts on various subjects. The participants will, among others, prepare a reviewer’s vocabulary list and a layout for the structure of their review.

Introduction: Urszula Witkowska – graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. For a number of years she has been working as a reviewer and journalist with various magazines and web portals. At present, she writes regularly to the literary magazine ‘KSIĄŻKI’. In 2009-2013 she worked as the deputy editor of the Olsztyn Cultural Magazine ‘Kulturka’, as well as a reviewer and columnist. She has also worked with the weekly ‘Kurier Olsztyński’, ‘Gazeta Turystyczna Warmii i Mazur’ and the web portal cogdziekiedy.olsztyn.pl. For two years she has been working in cooperation with the Borussia Association in the project ‘Mendelsohn’s House: home to literature’.
